Another Mary Sue, woo-hoo...

Fine. I'm giving this book a second chance, because, honestly, I don't want this to be the first book I DNF, ever. So, Jenyfer, I suggest you suck it up, and Ordes, mind your own business and shut up. Nobody cares what you have to say.

I hate this book, I hate all these main characters, and most of all, I hate what this book fails to recognise: readers are not oblivious. Not as oblivious as Jenyfer dearest, anyway. I'm probably going to DNF this book, because honestly, it's just shit. But not your regular shit, it's dog shit, bull shit, and horse shit thrown together into a heap, longing to become something that it is NOT, and will NEVER be.

Of course the main character is suddenly a better fighter after a few minutes of training, than someone who has done it all his life. Yeah, right. Mhm. Totally. So is this just instinct, or what?

I was promised a fierce FMC, yet what I got is a fearful, puny girl...

CAN WE STOP IT WITH ARTHUR’S POV ALREADY?!?! HE IS SO DAMN OBNOXIOUS, AND FOR WHAT REASON? I DON’T KNOW, DO YOU? NOTHING EVER HAPPENS, NOTHING. WHILE JENYFER GOT MARRIED AND ALMOST GOT SEND TO MALIST, ARTHUR HAS DONE, WHAT, EXACTLY? CUDDLED A LITTLE WITH JALEN? MADE OUT? HM?

Katarin is just *cheff’s kiss*👌.

Why is everything going so terrible🥹? It's not fun to read about one's misery. Literally every character from every POV we have - three in total - feels like absolute crap.
