I was so surprised to read the part where Zolotow considered Marilyn’s acting in “Don’t Bother to Knock”’to be bad. I think it’s one of her very best performances.

I’ve had this one on my radar for years but never read it. Then I found it at a used bookstore yesterday and knew it was coming home with me. It’s unique in the sense it was written while Marilyn Monroe was still alive; this means I doubt there will be any speculation or conspiracies found within it.
