How cool… and weird would it be to be able to talk to yourself about your shared experiences. The ones both of you had at the same time. From the same body. Even the most private, intimate memories, and thoughts and feelings behind those memories.

I like how this character brings herself back to stasis with grounding techniques. Closing her eyes, taking a moment, breathing deeply, changing her perspective to how someone else might see things. It’s nice to see these practices used in a book like this

What would i say to my previous, more ignorant self? I already speak to her in my mind sometimes.. “Why couldn’t you see this? Don’t you care about our future? How could you not think of this, or prepare for that when you had the chance?” What would say to her? How much compassion would i have for her really? Knowing what i know about her, which is everything…

It’s amazing what just a few days of experiences can do to completely change a person’s perspective… How drastically the trajectory of a person’s life can change in such a small amount of time. How differently that person can see the world as a whole with new information, thoughts, or experiences.

I don’t know if I’m going to be able to watch videos of myself the same way… 😳
