But yeah looks like the old man is dying and he wrote a novel about the nuclear bomb I wonder if the kids will manage to publish it.

Realism at its best I swear, Gen is a child, he didn't get to continue his education because his city got hit by a nuclear bomb, and as such his logic is really simple, his words are really simple.
"God isn't helping us, oh we ran into good luck god is there and he is helping us."
"You put yourself in harm's way for us, you impressed me" , even though their relationship with that man should be way deeper.

When I got back to this manga I noticed how hard it is to read it, I have physical translated copy, and the light wasn't helping me to read at all.
Now that I changed the light pulp in my room, I wonder how I was living before, it feels like I was living in the dark before I swear, everything is so clear now 😂
