At first, I felt like Ava didn't have a solid reason to dislike Alex. I understood her distaste for his attitude and pessimistic views, but he didn't seem like an enemy, just a jerk to others. Over time, though, I've come to appreciate their dynamic. Despite being complete opposites, their similar hurts, pains, and traumas have added an interesting layer to their relationship and personal growth.
