Since American Demon released, I decided that I clearly needed to reread the whole series.

Rereading since I finally picked up the second book

Respect went up a couple notches there.

Using blood test strips to prick their fingers and get blood for spells is a neat modernization of ye olde slicing yourself open with an athame and bleeding everywhere. I like it.

OR THAT. That could happen too.

I sense incoming lesbian sex, vampire blood drinking included.

...I'm not complaining.

The virus thing is pretty interesting.

And... why is Ivy abandoning the IS? And Jenks, why are they both completely willing to dump the good jobs they have going to start their own agency with Rachel? I mean, honest to god, they don't even seem to like each other that much...

Protagonist seems a little full of herself right now. Sheesh.
