Imperial Grand Strategy - Brainwashed by the media and terrified by government propaganda, it's no wonder people support wars and brutality. And things seem to be getting worse rather than better.

United States - Israel - Palestine - I thought this chapter deserved more. Nothing I didn't already know and plenty to make me MAD. Unbelievable that the world is still blind to this.

Language and the Brain - How difficult it is to actually study language...and some pretty wacky ideas.

Reflections on 9-11 - Excuses and double-standards.

Intentional Ignorance and Its Uses - How the U.S. and U.K. get involved in conflicts for 'moral' reasons while conveniently turning a blind eye to what is going on elsewhere. This supposed ignorance is also present even when money from the US in particular is being used to commit atrocities. More double standards with more recent conflicts.

New Horizons in the Study of Language and Mind - A really interesting chapter dealing with language as a concept and the similarities and differences between different languages. Would love to read lots more on this. Especially enjoyed the parts about semantics. I really don't think Nicky Morgan and he would get on well.

Introduction to the Minimalist Program - Am sure Chomsky would do terribly on the KS2 grammar test. Doesn't he realise that the names of the parts of language cannot be challenged or discussed?

Containing the Enemy: The bias of the US media when reporting (or rather, not reporting at all) the consequences of US foreign policy compared to the consequences of the interventions in other countries of foreign powers. As usual more of the unsurprising double-standards. I wish it gave the dates of the articles!

The View Beyond: Prospects for the Study of Mind - Acquisition and development of language. I really would like to know the date of each of these articles! This was certainly familiar from when I was at uni.
