even on the re-read Ephrims point of view is really difficult to sink into. it shows us such a different side of the world that it can feel like a whole different book. in good news, i don’t feel this way about Lyra. I am loving her POV, which I originally hated.

bro all i wanted was more Darrow and all this book has given me in three POVS setting up to ruin Darrow forever while DARROW IS STILL TRYING TO SAVE THE WORLD. i’m simply losing it. never have i had the read the povs of every god damn villain in the world while my home boy Darrow is receiving none of this information! I WANT TO SCREAM! look behind you DARROW 😭😭😭
