I think I kinda agree with Epicurus’ take on gods in an oblique, sorta Spinoza inspired way. Epicurus does Not deny the existence of god(s). No reason to fear them, as they are in perpetual blessedness. What could stir concern in them?

In my Spinozist way, I could see emulating that as an attainment of sufficient knowledge of God or nature.
