Re-read because re-reading Every Summer After put me in a slump where all I could think about was visiting Harriet & Wyn again because reading about Percy & Sam made me miss them… so I’m doing it!

AHHHH ITS GIVING THIRD ACT BREAKUP BETWEEN THE BESTIES!!! SO! MANY! EMOTIONS!!!!

Absolutely planning to binge the rest of this book tomorrow… which I’ve never felt the desire to do in my life. (That’s a good sign I guess).

This woman’s metaphors are absolute poetry omg!!!

So far this book is giving Carley Fortune but like, WAY better 🤩

I MUST GIVE MY INITIAL THOUGHTS ON THIS BEFORE I EXPLODE:

- So far, Sara + Des know what they’re talking about
- The intended vibes + the actual vibes match in this book, unlike in Beach Read which makes it 10x more enjoyable
- Emily Henry’s banter is effortlessly funny, I’m irl lol-ing
- The way she describes literally anything is like butter, idk how to explain that but it’s just butter
