drinn idk where i saw this but it was on a list and i went into it not reading the synopsis again. it i like it!! i think the author may be irish or did research because i always want to microwave my brain in irish and scottish romances cause the authors usually fuck it up

rchl you should read it. the audiobook has irish accents idk if thats a good or a bad thing for you. usually its a bad thing for me but its not badly done imo

not sure if irish is one, my downstairs neighbors irish

rchl i often have to slow down podcasts if the host or guest has a british accent. like i always have issues with an english accent even tho its represented in media more often than accents i don’t have an issue with.

i also really struggle with word distinction with indian accents but I have a thing with my hearing that i’ve been thinking might impact any accents where syllables “roll” into the next like you hear in some english and indian accents

rchl apparently auditory processing disorder fucks with a persons ability to discern accents. but it’d be interesting to know if it’s mostly an exposure to various accents thing or also impacted by the characteristics of speech
