There isn’t a bigger fan of the Liaden universe right up until the end of I Dare than me. But I’ve struggled with the rest of the series. Too many changes in POV. Just give me one or two characters and tell the story.

I loved ‘I Dare’, it was the best in that segment of the universe. I’ve found it easiest to read small arcs in the liaden universe because it becomes kind of overwhelming. I always wonder about some thread from another book that doesn’t get taken up again until some later book. I’ve enjoyed these last few, Trader’s Leap and Ribbon Dance. Now that Steve has passed away I don’t know how the series will progress. Only time will tell.
