Each destination has been different from the last. The journey to find Edwid is insane but there needs to be a turn in the plot soon. The giant raven was so creepy!

The world building is immaculate. So unique & spooky. The characters are written well also. Benjamiah & Elizabella could make a great team if they start to trust each other. Yin & yang.

This is a lot of fun. Don’t think I’ve read a middle grade book with poppets & I like the idea of Benjamiah not believing in magic being cast into another world. Lookin g forward in finding out what his purpose is with the brother & sister.
