Wait a minute. I can let a lot slide, but if she really was XXXXX, then the same thing happened to Alex. And I'm like appalled, bored, and still want to know what happens. Freud would have a field day.

I'm waiting for her to whip out a box of Rice A Roni. It is, after all, The San Francisco Treat. ;-)

Why in the world the author picked San Francisco as the location is beyond me. Nobody who lives here willingly eats at fisherman's wharf if they have to, and it is NOT a treat. Why this fact, among all the other not-possible-in-real-life and huh-why-would-that-only-work-that-ONE-time-but-not-that-exact-same-situation-OTHER-time moments bugs me is also beyond me. Guess I'm just a complicated gal.
