This book follows the 10th Mountain Div in the Korgenal Valley of Afghanistan. The book details how the valley is one of the most dangerous places in the world with 70% of the bombs dropped in Afghanistan being dropped in this one area. In order to provide further access into the valley, an operating post named Pheonix was created. I have really enjoyed this book thus far due to its dramatic, true story nature of it.
