i’m enjoying this so far!! it’s very lovely and it gives comforting vibes 😭 plus because i haven’t exactly been enjoying my reading lately, i’m glad this seems to be different so far at least lol

i’m liking it! i took like three days to get this far which is slow for me but i’m also in this weird slump so that’s probably why. i love the vibes though and i love how it’s immersing me into the world, even though i haven’t really followed baseball and idk how it’s played and it has a huge role in this. i hope you enjoy this whenever you get around to reading it though 🥰

I have this on my kindle waiting for me as well!! I've decided to pause my KU subscription in a few weeks, so I can finally tackle alllllll the books I've bought and never read (like this one 🤣). I'm so curious to see what you think of it!

the cover is what won me over at first though, along with the trans rep! it’s so vibrant & pretty & soothing at the same time somehow 😭💗 i wish you luck with reading all those books though! a lot of books are thankfully on ku now which is why i don’t buy books as much (and i borrow when i can) but i feel this pressure whenever a book is just sitting there on my shelf/in my kindle waiting for me to read it lol

thanks, drache! i ended up reading all the rest of this so very fast because i got so invested in both gene and luis 🥹 they are so precious to me. and same, i don’t know anything about baseball and yet i felt the anticipation of the game along with the characters and i think that’s something that takes true skill!
