Holy cow, chapter 15 was INTENSE. And Ryle did that so suddenly!!! I was fully expecting another couple chapters of pure bliss. And then Atlas being the chef! Incredible. And seeing everything. The bathroom/hallway scene. Woahhhhh. Just got SUPER good. Lily sounds just like her mother, but her rationalizations are something every human would do…ofc he would be upset about his hand. *Sigh* and so the cycle repeats.

I got teary eyed because of the thoughtfulness behind the apartment - reminds me of my bf (without the abuse and anger issues etc). I sort of see where she’s coming from about how Ryle is different from her dad…but that’s probably exactly what her mom thought too.

Woahhh I didn’t expect to meet Atlas again so soon! I thought there would be more relationship development between her and Ryle. But Ryle seems so perfect right now…hot, intelligent, affectionate, wealthy, neurosurgeon, and good with moms!

Allysa is so cute. Her saying “you can’t fire me if he does anything else stupid”…foreshadowing. Also, if they end up married, that would be crazy because he positively said that being married and having children basically repulsed him.

Booktok told me that this was going to be a really fast read, and I can already see that. Even though the chapters are longer than my usual chapters, I breeze through them because I’m so entertained, and the writing is very easy to process. I learned the word disparaging today.
