Yes, I can see why the Lord John series started, just finished the shorty that began it. Back when it was written, I’m sure readers were saying, “more please, more”!
Like all Diana’s books, the snippet has been researched, the conversations so full bodied and the imagery of the era, that you can fully envision all, the visuals just come. An enjoyable read!
