This is a very negative book. I expected positive solutions, but all I'm getting is examples and explanations of negatives.

Rule #3 - don't under pay people and treat them like shit Rule #4 - don't get creepy with insurance tracking stuff So far, I'm not getting a lot out if this book. Lots of negative examples and not much in terms of positive things to do. The market for this book seems to be execs who are already out of touch and wouldn't read it anyway.

Rule #2 - don't make everyone afraid because you're constantly laying off and firing for no reason - the best people will leave

Ch1 - (1) people hate their jobs (2) executives don't give a shit. Felt very directed towards millenials. Exec think loss of engagement is employees fault Ch2 - basically "treat me like an individual" and your manager needs to know you.
