my toxic trait is that my motivation to read a book goes down if the cover design doesn’t look good to me 😭 i can’t help it i’m an art major

Valid 😂 So glad I bought a Kindle because now I just change the covers of my ebooks before sending them to my device!
my toxic trait is reading a book I feel like I won't like/will be meh about because I don't want to rate too many books 5 stars in a row >.<
Lmao I do the same thing, but for a different reason. Sometimes I read books I know I won't like, just so that I can read what everyone else is reading and understand the references 😭 Then there's that small part of me that hopes I'll end up liking it if I just keep an open mind.
Reading a book which has a trope I hate then hating the book for having that trope😭😭
