The fact that Margot’s backstory is based on Lani’s is somewhat terrifying. I mean, being the daughter of a drug lord is something else. This story really gives insight into what that was like, and it makes me want to give Lani a big hug and never let go. Except I can’t do that anymore. 😭💔
