All the 5 star reviews made me think this would be something brilliant. It’s not. Filled with
me-aggressive-rude-American-man and extremely immature decisions and behavior. No way they are scientists or first officer or soldiers. Everyone sounds like Chet who is a hired gun. He is allowed to be like that but the rest?? Alec is so unlikable. Guess sex sells after all because this doesn’t deserve the hype.

Ugh. Why would Alec behave like this? How can he be the Captain of an elite exploratory crew? A navigator? That would require advanced education, a calm and mature personality and at the very least better vocabulary. He sounds nothing like that. I dunno what Zercy sees in him at this point except looks perhaps but we don’t really know how Alec looks besides some generic white boy.

Alec and Chet are really ungrateful and juvenile. Constantly swearing and yet trying to get into everything.
They just had a huge meal and Alec is alone in Zercy’s room and yet he just starts drinking, touching, going everywhere
