Interesting story, great writing. Overall reads closer to a Middle Grade than YA at times. Saw some typos, and errors that could have been caught by another round of edits/reread. Writing quality felt strong at the start and end. Battle action writing scenes with the phoenix felt a little repetitive in sentence starters such as the over use of "With" or "Without."

Amazing and captivating prologue -- has me so intrigued! Writing style is amazing. Feels like a true YA book at the moment in story. Execution of chosen-one troupe is very straight to the point style right now with the quest-giver character.
