Reading this and it is very different than her other books. The first third is mostly Lola and Max trying to survive on stolen boat, then running from drug dealers and escaping and finally going back to their lives with the help of the coast guard and secret government agency.
I like Lola she is not what she appears to be and is really a decent person. Max is former military and now some kind of black ops guy.
