Vicki Herbert
is 20% done
I don't know if I'll have the stomach to finish this one 🤢🤮😞 it has taken me 2 days to get 20% into this story, and although the story is good, the puke factor and revulsion level are high. Will gulp some fresh air and try to carry on.

Wish you did not have to go through this Vicki! Hope the book gets better after this point. I have experienced the same situation many times over the years, but especially I seem to be unlucky because my 'puke worthy' books were always 500 pages long or even more. But I sincerely hope this one gets better! Happy Reading to you! And Happy Teacher's Day to you & your son the Reverend - the first teacher of a child is always the parent & a priest is always the greatest teacher of a child respectively - so both of you amazing people get to be wished by me today! Have an amazing day! :)

It must be bad, for you not to want to continue Vicki. I was the same with Zola 🤢 I hope the fresh air helps! 🤞🏼
Leeanne, thanks, but I may push forward because now the story is starting to get very good, and I'm having a hard time putting it down. It is much like WOOM because it started off too disgusting for words, but soon evolved into a 5 star read. 😊
Daniel, thanks for the encouragement. I may have jumped the gun on this one. As the story moved on, it became, believe it or not, very compelling, much like Duncan Ralston's WOOM. If I had stopped reading Woom, I would've missed one of the best stories of the year for me. I'm more of a "things that go bump in the night" reader, lol. 😊
Glad to hear you’re continuing Vicki, I hate to DNF a book, though sometimes you have to, especially if you’re not feeling it. Yes Woom is an outstanding read 🙂
Leeanne, I guess what I'm not feeling about this book is the constant avalanche of yuck without a break. It's the same way I felt about Stokoe's HIGH LIFE... an onslaught of disgusting images without relief. It's getting more into a story now, so I may have misjudged it by reacting too early last night. 😊
I'm glad you feel you can continue Vicki, it's a gross read for sure but there is also a bit of a beautiful story in there too .... its something McCluskey does well!
Yes, 5 ft Reader, I'm beginning to see that. I definitely see light at the end of the tunnel because the story is evolving into a very good read at this point, and there is meaning to all the madness 😊 since this is book 2 of THE SPECIAL STUFF series, which I really liked, I wanted to finish this story, and I'm glad I stuck with it!
