I am not entirely sure why I am reading so many books at once right now, but I think it has to do with my spirit relaxing as I finally settle into geographic permanency.
I was initially attracted to this book cos of the Roz Chast cover; turns out, the book is effing amazing!
Shoutout to my cousin, who, after listening with me for 30ish minutes, asked "Is Babel a real person?" Amazing! (p.s. she doesn't like it)

Listening from the Bloor/ Gladstone branch of the Toronto Public Library - a new branch for me!
"a fixed, un-benevolent expression" - Batuman describing Natalie Babel
This book is hilarious! I'm really enjoying it.

I really liked The Idiot, particularly after reading this book - it's neat to see the ways the author and character are similar (but not identical!). I liked Either/Or slightly less, but it was a solid sequel.
