Storylines where the whole gang pulls up are pretty neat I didn’t even realize Dr. Strange had people like that lol he’s got a solid team also I really like the dark tone and colors of the Book of Vishanti segments about Mordo’s past that dude is messed up though definitely irredeemable lol why you do that stuff for

Usual type of shenanigans in the strange stories, the tales of the darkhold were sweet though talking about the war between the lords of the vampires vs the montesi family. Onto Triumph and Torment, the main event!

Hobgoblin was fun to see. Dr Strange is having lots of lady-based issues these days it seems 🤨

Read Faust Gambit 1-3 and book of vishanti part 1 so far today. Vishanti chapter was cool a hard and swift lore drop of Mordo’s backstory, and the Faust gambit has been pretty dope so far probably the most unserious story so far in terms of dialogue etc but it’s bringing in all of the cast and a world threatening fight is about to break down

4 issues in, so far quite solid- this is late 80’s Dr. Strange, which is considerably different from modern iterations. Strange is very serious and to the point and is often shooting beams and stuff out of his hands. It is cool that many of his villains are primordial beings and monsters and that his battles are fought in secret. I loved the part in issue 2 where he was a rat and hanging out with a bunch of frogs
