If I had a nickel for every time an author of a vampire book mentioned it being an October Day AFTER Holloween had already come and gone, I'd have two nickles, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

I find it odd that, when choosing to list two pies, the author chose Boston Cream as one of them ... (note: the sentence calls it a pie specifically, it does not just say "Boston Cream Pie")

Well that escalated quickly.

Two things are bugging me so far:

The ridiculous number of run on sentences.

The ridiculous character names: Slick, Blue, Horse

Picked this up as a Blind Date with a book a while ago and decided to read it because my coworker happened to start it.

I'm barely done with the prologue and my face is already 😐
