I'm halfway through and there is neither sex nor rage so far. This could be such a good book on the shallowness and numbness of LA elite culture or even just Jacaranda's alcohol issues, but it's so disjointed and difficult to follow that scenes blur into one another and there is little buildup or pay off. Characters also seem to come out of nowhere and many feel like cardboard cut outs just meant to fill up the page
