all of ice’s lines in the club scene being delivered by slider while he just stands on the side and glares daggers at maverick is insanely funny and SO interesting. ice is a bitch in the movie, yes, but he’s charismatic and caring about it. so far here it seems like he sees others as prey, it’s crazyyyy, simmer down smoothie

very interesting choice to have the inversion scene be from cougar’s pov, i wouldnt have thought of that! a thing that in the movie (mav’s pov) is so climactic and gets the anthem going instead seems more frivolous here, a v interesting framing change indeed. hmmm ok mike i am learning your mind
