Finished Act 3 of King Lear 😱😳🫣 The audio production featuring John Gielgud and Judi Dench, available on the Shakespeare Network’s YouTube channel, is outstanding!!

Finished Act 2 of King Lear! What a ride this one is—is Lear senile? Mad? Delusional? Simply insecure and paranoid? What a brilliant characterization of an ageing ruler!

Reading “King Lear” with a group of good friends for Shaketember! Finished Act 1 this evening—already this is shaping up to be a very powerful play!

Finished with Julius Caesar this evening! I did an “immersion reading,” listening to this dramatic production while reading along with the play in front of me: https://youtu.be/MfrYdQ7jkKs. It is absolutely FANTASTIC!

I got this huge and glorious tome for my birthday several years ago, and I’m diving in with The Tragedy of Julius Caesar—a buddy read with my daughter, who’s in Grade 10!
