It has been obvious that the authors withholding information since chapter 1 and that's fine, what's not fine is that it's obvious when something's withheld and why? Like he bumped the magus shoulder (now we have to pretend to not guess he stole the thing™) the got 2 pieces of leather earlier (pretends not to know what he's using it for) 😂 what a riot

You know when an author does so much research before doing their world building so they care A LOT about the world they built and readers sure don't so it has the effect of; this might be historically accurate but it sure ain't fun. Worldbuilding doesn't equal entertainment

41% in and from the immediate start, they're on a horse, and they've still been on that horse riding from the forest to other parts of the forest, up a mountain to another forest...are you for real...? and with a cast this obnoxious and annoying I don't even care that gens probably gonna Uno reverse card gatcha them, because he does in fact seem dumb and think he's smart
