I was gonna just read like one chapter before I went to bed, but there’s one stretch that switches from Bran-Daenerys-Tyrion-Sansa-Tyrion-Sansa-Jaime-Davos-Jon that was literally so engrossing that I couldn’t put the book down. People weren’t kidding when they said this one is the most entertaining of the five.

Struggling to get through this as I feel my Game of Thrones hyperfixation ending, but every time I come back to it I’m reminded why I love it so much. Daenerys is quickly turning into the biggest badass in the world.

Beric and his band of outlaws are so cool. They’re one of the only true groups of heroes in the war that’s decimating their country, and they fight like hell to feed and save those that need it. Thoros is also a really interesting character.

“She clutched his hand.
‘Nothing will happen to you. NOTHING. I could not stand it. They took Ned, your sweet brothers. Sansa married, Arya lost, my father is gone…if anything befell you, I would go mad Robb. You are all I have left. And you are all the North has left.’”


I hate you George RR Martin! You’re an evil man!

Things are so good. This book has me never wanting to put it down. People weren’t lying when they said this was the most entertaining one in the series.

Everything’s building up, and stuff’s about to explode.
Once you know it’s coming, the seeds of Robb’s failure begin to be so glaringly obvious every time they appear. Poor Robb.

I know that George wants Bran to be one of, if not the, most important characters. But every single one of his chapters feels the same.
Bran has a wolf dream.
The wolf dream is wolf. He’s a wolf. He wolfs.
Then bran wakes up.
Hodor.
Ok let’s keep going north.
