I really dont understand how her torture session never comes up. Like she shows no ptsd or lingering issues from it when it really seems like she should. Its weird to have no mention of it or liam coming to visit her?? Just drama between women and her not reading the whole book which is so out of character

I also really hate that women are always pit against each other because of a man. I think its a sad trope to see such hate between two female characters on just that basis and not have it expanded past that much

Also tell me how there are 4 riders and 5 fliers but only 7 in the group when they get handed the papers?

Updates: plot feels very loose like cat being connected to her squad although leadership knows theres a dispute there, no one thinking large gaggle of dragons and griffins might draw attention of wyvern who have been multiple times mention as being seen near their location, the constant use of counting things in heart beats and the OVERLY AGGRESSIVE MAN OVER ANYONE INC FAM MUST OBEY HIM OR HE WOULD KILL OTHERS TROPE

I quite literally cannot believe she would fall for the drink thing again. After being offered poison on multiple occasions and being a so called poison expert herself why would she accept anything from anyone to consume?

How is smth triggering if they have nothing that requires a trigger?
