Overall decent story. I like the characters, but I found the plot and pacing lacking. I think the book was just way too short for everything the author wanted to convey. But, the main characters were decent.

A Medusa retelling that hit every check mark for me. I loved everything about the story. I loved Marina from the start. Then about halfway through, I started hating her. The way she treated Rom for something out of his control got annoying. However, she grew & understood that he had no part of it & suffered greatly, just like her. They were kindred spirits & perfect for each other.

I really like that this book didn't have any spice. It's definitely slow burn so it allowed the plot to move forward and all the guys and Lorna to develop more naturally. It was still fast paced but it didn't sacrifice the plot development. The character development is a little lacking but I think that will get better over the next books
