Quite the masochistic selection there, my friend. I can't imagine this being an "enjoyable" one in any respect. Nevertheless, certainly very curious to see what you take from it! :)

Ha!! Well Jonno, it's grim in parts for sure - but it also covers the history around torture. So that's interesting. Bloody humans hey? I don't think torture happens in the animal kingdom, right?

The only ones I can think of are orcas. They have been known to cruelly play with/torture their prey before killing it. And I think chimps can do some pretty nasty things to each other but don't know about outright torture. But humans would definitely seem to be one of a kind regarding degree of cruelty 😒
