Oh, this is good :)
The characters are well-written and the story depicts unnervingly how dire the chances for a woman in her time and status were and how she, despite it, submits herself to her destiny. It makes me wonder how many women in the past lived a saintly life, following the Lord with all their hearts placing their sorrows and injustice of the time at his feet, and taking their crosses and carrying them.
