The Sisters

Hirai goes back in time attempting to make her sister happy before her fated journey home by promising her that she would return to home. Unbeknown to her Kumi isn't elated because it would mean Hirai would take over and Kumi could be rid of running the Inn, but that it was her dream to run it together with her sister. Hirai hesitant to leave, is persuaded by Kei in order to keep her promise.

A young girl from the future comes to meet Kazu, having their photo taken with a digital camera. Hirai the bar owner outside the cafe has returned after the funeral of her younger sister Kumi, whom had died in car crash on her way back, after she avoided her in the cafe. After reading the letter left by Kumi that Hirai had given Kei to dispose of, she sits in the chair.

Husband and Wife

Fusagi has Alzheimer's. Three years after his diagnosis he forgets his wife Kohtake; a nurse resigned to the fact that one day she will be caring for him as a nurse rather than as his wife. Fusagi has a letter that he has yet to give to his wife, however never has. Kohtake goes back in time to receive the letter. The letter is Fusagi's attempting to remove any carer guilt Kothake may have.

A letter entrusted to the Kumi the lady behind the counter. Addressed to the disowned sister whom is a regular at the cafe.

How Fumiko and Goro met; on a project from different companies. Fumiko was the project director and Goro a programmer. The project encountered a software bug that was estimated to take longer than their 1 week deadline to find, but Goro, whom disappeared from the team for 4 days and increasingly was becoming the easy scapegoat came back to announce he had found the bug.

When the outcome you intended for cannot occur, yet you continue with the process anyway.
