They can't call me gay for reading this cuz Willem doesn't even identify as gay nor does Jude identify as anything. In all seriousness, the beauty of Jude and Willem's romance is that it spites conventional identity norms and just portrays two people in love for the sake of love. But so far, this book has been sort of ambiguous with its intentions. Beautiful prose made from vile contents. Brilliant.

My favorite part about it is how Jude is a sort of feminine man, slender and good at household tasks, while willem is masculine. The gay relationship which is in a very strange way, the straightest gay couple Ive ever witnessed, is great.
