The first few chapters were great…the rest has been an allegorical slog. The plot is all over the place. Ppl keep saying it gets so good, when!!!! 😭.

😭 seriously. It’s supposed to have like 2 sequel novels too. I don’t get it. It has an interesting premise but I feel like I’m back in the hell that was Immanuel by Dekker.
