When I bother to sit down and read it, it goes fast, though it's by far the least appealing choice among my current books-in-progress, and I keep avoiding it. Ideally I'll have finished reading it before 372 Pages announces their next selection.

Back into this after several weeks' break. These aren't great books, to say the least, which made me reluctant to pick it back up. 372 Pages had an unavoidable hiatus in the middle of it, too, which didn't help matters.

This one's on hold for a while, not sure how long. I bought a "372 Pages" selection while on vacation not long ago, but it's awfully long, and I don't want to read a mid book right after finishing another. It's been so long since I read an above-average novel...

Reading this one serially as new "372 Pages" podcast episodes come out isn't working super well at times. My brain feels no need to retain anything but the silly parts, so I'm losing track of the "plot" and characters in between times. It's easy enough to piece back together, though - it isn't like this is a complex book.

I thought I'd be bored after having finished Tekwar not long ago, but this has its fun moments. The writing and plotting are better than in the first book.
I can see where "Shatlart" (Ron Goulart ghostwriting for William Shatner) has started dressing up otherwise boring "go to a place and talk to a person" scenes with silliness, like the one where Sid goes "incognito" in a clown suit.
