Treated myself to this cookbook,"Castle Rock Kitchen-Wicked Good Recipes From The World Of Stephen King". Arrived yesterday.
Delectable food photos, needful novel tie-ins.

Now the trick is to decide which recipe to make for our family's Goosebumps marathon tomorrow: Pizza from Gambino's, Blue Plate Special, or the classic New England American Chop Suey?

The time is ticking nearer...Please, will you help me decide?

Oh, yummm, just finished the dessert section, "Baking And Sweets". Now have a hankering to make Blueberry Cream Cheeze Pie, or maybe Winter Squash Doughnut Holes......no, the Home Made Fig Bars sure look good, then there's the Whoopie Pies...a very New Englandy treat....gosh, I think I'll just go read!

Celeste and Berengaria, thanks for helping me try to decide what to make for today's family Goosebumps marathon- videos & books.
Now, having gotten farther into this cookbook, I'm going with
Lois's Spicy Stir-Fry (pg141). Wish you could join us to savour the flavour.
Really looking forward to lolling in the desert section at a later time.

Hi, Valerie! Never tried it, but read the recipe and it looks tasty.

Berengaria Blue Plate Special. There's nothing like Denny's at home! 😂

Valerie Book Valkyrie-on Holiday Semi-Hiatus Thanks Berengaria! OK, well! Either of these would be truely tastey........now I've made it as far as page 127: Dick Hallorann's Baked Beans! Mmmmm, home made baked beans! The last section in the book is deserts, yum! But I've been appointed to make a "main dish", so deserts will have to wait for another time.
