My favorite character so far is totally Annabeth because she's really funny and kind of outgoing. I knew that Grover was the one that tried to save Thalia but I was kind of surprised that Annabeth and Luke were the other two campers.I'm so glad that they set the animals free, it was so sad when it was telling about how they treated them. Percy says no one is controlling him, but Hades is controlling him with his mom.

I'm so glad that Percy beat Ares in that fight, but I'm worried that now that Ares despises him something really bad will happen later. It was a little gross how they described the sword going through his heel. I think Annabeth is right; going on an airplane is NOT a good idea.

I think that Aunt Em is a momster because she is acting very strange. Also, I think the statues are real people turned to stone because of their facial expressions amd Percy says they are so detailed. It is funny how after they fought the Kindly Ones the only thing Grover thought aboit was a waste of cans.

At first, I was surprised that Percy is Poseidon's son but then it made sense because he is always stronger in water. The mummy was so creepy! I wonder if Percy will go alone on the quest or if other people will come too. I hope Annabeth goes with him because she really wants to get a quest and get out of the camp. It must be awful for Percy right now, because the whole camp ignores him.
