Backwards and forwards in time and still he moans on and on about his shame and how everyone pities him and he did a bad thing and it's all bad. So much ego and mess. Did they create this by pushing him so hard and never caring for his mental state? Or is this what it's like stuck in a teenage competitors brain. What a bleak place.

First 2 hours and its easy to read. Danny is a fierce boy and man. Lots of jumping between times hinting at something horrible. All the internal discussion of hate and rage at himself and everyone else give you an idea where we are headed. Tough going.
