I love how Mr. Kreeft can even inject humor into these readings. He pointed out how we had the same psalm this Sunday as last and wryly commented that there must be a shortage of psalms. Therefore, he concluded that because there may also be a paper shortage, he would not be retyping last Sunday's reflection either.

I love the readings and liturgies of the beautiful Solemnities we have been celebrating recently, Holy Trinity, Corpus Christi, but I also lament the readings we miss because those weeks are skipped, so I tried to read a couple of them as well as prayerful meditation.

We do know that God's will for us is for us to be holy and happy, so we can use Jesus' promise to ask for holiness, which is the key to happiness, and we can know with absolute certainty that God will give us the thing we ask for, in his own time and in his own way. (which will be the BEST!)

I love what Mr. Kreeft writes after the Good Friday Gospel: No words should follow it. All heaven's angels bow their heads and shut their mouths in awe and adoration at these events; that is their homily on it. We cannot improve on that.
