So far I'm not really sure I'm feeling this one. there are so many characters, and the introductions are clumsy and rushed - it feels like we start in the middle of a story, and the author is trying to fill in a lot of backstory and worldbuilding and it's just A LOOOOOOT to keep track of. we are not eased into the story at all. I'm kinda scrambling.
