I'm confused. Why has he not groveled and apologized? He's been gone for 2.5 years and is back to win his ex-fiancée back. How does he not start that by telling her (and the reader) why the f he ghosted her and what kept him away?

Hmmm reading the premise I’m wondering why he ghosted his fiancé!? If he was celibate? Cause he sounds like a douche… good luck
