All these weeks I spent trying to work out my "type" and getting it totally wrong. I look at Joe and can't even think how I would describe him as a "type", he's just...a person. He's just Joe. Joe, my person.

My heart floods with joy at the thought of being with someone who knows me so well.

It feels like a movie, it feels like a real go to the theater movie. I'm really hoping this would get an adaptation. It's not a groundbreaking idea but well-delivered performances and nice face cards can make it great. I can actually picture the climax sequence of the movie.

This could be a really cute and relatable romcom movie if this ever get an adaptation. Maya having a roster, an ex and solid besties is the best recipe for a great chick flick.

My brain feels like soup. As ever with Freddie, he's so assured in what he thinks and the way he puts it across that I find myself doubting my own opinion. Maybe it was all a big misunderstanding, after all.

Eventually, as ever, my need to avoid awkward social interactions takes over and I search for something to say.

It's not as outrageous as Dating Disasters of Emma Nash but it surely has a distinct voice. I can actually picture this book getting movie adaptation. It will be as cute and relatable like To All the Boys I've Loved Before.

Obviously I will always be baffled that the same spooky, universal forces that saw fit to bring Hot Dog, Hot Sauce and Hot Plate into my life also saw fit to snatch them away.
