Elizabeth I’m loving it so far! John Mullan is so good at detail across Dickens’ novels and also looking at the big picture of how those details delineate character and add to the atmosphere, etc. It is definitely testing my memory though. Dickens has so many characters that I can’t always remember the side characters that Mullan discusses. 😂
