the next two chapters were about shaping relationships consciously and learning to respond instead of react. these are two key areas i need to work on

part 5 is about committing to yourself. the first two chapters speak about listening to your body (energy) and five small steps. they include adopting an emblem, treating yourself, stop saying i’m sorry, letting go of imperfection, and being kind to your body.

self love in professional life is hard but necessary. i learned about valuing myself in the workplace and how to be financially fit

i learned the ways to love my self. this means taking control of my time/ attention, not over-giving, detoxing from toxicity, setting boundaries, and owning my whole story

i learned more ways we sabatoge self love- letting guilt overtake, relying on false hope, ignoring intuition, never saying no, and having self limiting beliefs

i learned about 2 methods where we don’t love our selves- 1 is seeking external validation and 2 is doing something based on societal norms

this book has some really useful things. her stories and so powerful. i’m excited to learn more about self-love
